It looks better than I thought it would! It would be nice if BMW really did up the power in this big car now!

pretty sure the wheels have a covering over them to keep them clean/unscratched something, and that after you remove it, you get the regular wheels we see on the track.

The M6 Gran Coupe does not just show individuality in apperance or high-end wheels. There is some other changes.
What other changes Scott??????? Wheels are beautiful and yes I expected they would be slightly different as this is THE flagship. Expect a power bump too...... -Bond |

I paid 81k for my M3 and I clean it myself, Im sure no one will trust some random person to clean his 110k+ car, unless s/he is pathetic and doesn't give a dam like Paris Hilton.

MORE power in the M6GC. No doubt about it! What else could it be ? Different interior? Different wheels (as we are seeing)? Na... its gotta be either a modified S63Tu or the next generation of the S63Tu...

I like the wheels, and it certainly doesn't look like a cover of any sort. They are definitely different wheels. I also like the idea of that extra differentiating factor (besides other changes that we hopefully will know more about soon). It's a light touch, but enough for the discerning enthusiast to notice. Maybe even for the observant layperson who has a keen interest in cars.
Agree the interior of the 6 series is beautifully sculpted compared to the interior of the 5 series. The 6GC line is for style over practicality, and I for one am on board with that. I had an X6 over an X5 for the same reason when it came time to get a family hauler. And these cars (the 6GC line that is) are no slouches, either. They aren't meant for the track, but they can definitely cruise comfortably and very quickly when out on the town. I saw an F13 650i on the freeway hit it and he was gone, it was fun to watch. Slap an ///M on one and even with the extra doors, lack of speed will not be one of this car's known issues. |

I see you haven't found the right detailer in your area

But i do wash my car myself a lot its just that sometimes when i want a super detailed job done... I go to the detailer. I'd probably damage my car using one of those buffer things. I'm not trained in detailing... |

These are not the M434 wheels, the small curved part in the double spokes goes to the rim, instead of the middle of the double spoke like on the M434.

I used to not know how to use a buffer, then I got one and asked the detailing shops what they use, etc, and watched how-to's, and now I know. I do all of my own detailing. I know I only have a 328, but nobody loves my car as much as myself, so I keep it in tip-top shape. Also, the M6GC will be north of 140k in Canada, which in a few years I'll be able to afford, so if I do buy one, I would clean my own wheels. |

I was wondering about that as well. Cameras are never allowed on the factory tours, let alone when viewing a new production model that has yet to be revealed to the public.
