FINALLY! Full daylight shots of Tanzanite! In the first pic, you can see an Imperial Blue F30 in the background for comparison. Tanzanite looks to be less purple-y and inky and lies somewhere between Imperial and Deep Sea. Definitely glows in direct sunlight.

Still not the shade I was hoping for, but a great choice in a darker blue. Thanks for sharing it!

All I have to say is... BMW really needs to fix their color shades on the site. Even the best calibrated monitor doesn't do justice to the colors besides black or white. I do like the color though

Wow that has a ton of flake in it, I like.

Too bad its not US bound. Imperial is too dark IMO.

I'm sold, Tanzanite would definitely be my next blue if Le Mans was too much for me by the time I switched cars. I had my eye on Deep Sea Metallic and while I think it would look similar to this in hue, this just looks far richer and deeper -- and somehow it manages to look every bit as amazing as it did under auto show lighting in New York. What a perfect blue!

I'm on the fence for an F30 in this color, but still waiting to see some samples and pictures. These shots sure help, it seems to have a lot more pop and flake than IB which is exactly what I'm looking for.

Another indi blue thats a bit darker but lots of flakes and looks great too is Onyx blue, a friend has in on their M6...

its a very subtle dark blue. I like it even though i would probably not pick this color for a car.

Azurite looks amazing on the F10 M5... tanzanite appears to be similar to audi estoril blue crystal effect... so I was hoping for something like in between azurite and jerez

BMW are you listening... M3/M4 standard azurite/jerez mix

Beautiful!! Love those flakes.

I'll probably always struggle between blue and black. Especially when the blues are nice like this. Struggled when choosing a color for my M (finally settled on Azurite), and probably always will. I love both!

Thanks for sharing. The stitch work looks amazing. Champagne Merino looks gorgeous. Had a hard time deciding between Champagne and Platinum for my F13 order. I finally ended up with Platinum for the Citrin Black exterior. In your case, the Champagne interior complements the Tanzanite Blue perfectly. She's a beauty. Congrats!
