I was at the W in Austin, TX, this morning and the new M5 and M6 pull up for the official unveiling tonight. They quickly were covered up, but I snapped a few good pics. The BMW M5 pics are in the M5 section, but here are two of the M6.

The color on the M6 is "Sakhir Orange" from I understand. Looks amazing under the bright Texas sun. Rear sticker said "werktestwagen".

great photos! it certainly does come up nice detailed. it looks huge in that first photo with the guys standing around it. can't wait for someone to capture some in car driving video!!

How does the Sakhir Orange look? It's tough to tell in the pictures. I'm thinking Sakhir or Brilliant White for my order.

It's indeed hard to capture, especially these since I took them with my iPhone. It's gorgeous in real life though, extremely bright. Probably one of the brightest colors I've ever seen on a car.

How long is the event? Are the cars going to be there all weekend?

The event at the W was only last night. I believe the cars are stored in an undisclosed location today and tomorrow there's an event at BMW of Austin where they'll be displayed again for their M customers.
