I don't see the need for these other than because they look good. On the street you won't see a benefit. On the track you'll see a benefit if you run for many sessions and have issues with fade, but then the replacement cost of those rotors is going to be rough.

CarCer brakes have more than just a fade free track advantage and looks. The reduced unsprung weight and rotational mass will account for something on the street in daily use. Now if that bit of extra performance is worth the cost of admission, I don't know. That's up to the individual paying for it....

![]() Driving the last gen of Audi S8 equiped with Cc brakes I had an incredible feeling of safe due to the power of stopping ![]() Not neccessary only for track use these upgraded brakes are a great option! They are not cheap for sure, but after driving a car equiped with this kind of brakes you'll feel very strange when you are switching to your "normal" braking system car! I've almost had an accident with my car due to the so much different power of stopping ![]() I only reccomand you to test drive M6s equipped with both braking systems and only after that to post here your real impressions ![]() *previous gen of S8 |
