Happens to me all the time, Typically 4-8 times a month. Now when I see some one approaching me before they can say anything I ask hey man can I have some money for gas. They are usually a little confused.

Speaking of LV I just got back from there. I love the people on the strip handing out cards for girls, they are freaking everywhere. "Girls to your room in 20min", ha love it.

Orlando is the worst. Especially on obt.

only time it ever happened to me i was younger. my family was in the motorhome in florida and a guy came over and asked my dad for money. dad refused, guy pulled a knife... dad pulled a gun... guy ran like a b*tch. never happened here in colorado.

happened to me once at a gas station......however.....walmart parking lot is a different story. i've been approached in the parking lot on quite a few occasions....and even inside the store a few weeks ago.

happens to me when I'm in downtown Detroit. So annoying. Once in Chicago, this bum asked my dad for some money...so my dad went into subway and bought him a 12"sub and gave it to him...the dude got so pissy and was all "blah blah i wanted money dammit" and then he went over to the garbage and threw it out

My wife used to get this all the time when we lived downtown Decatur, Ga. A woman carrying a baby asked her for a ride with the usual sob story and she gave her the ride, then came the money hit, the wifey had no cash so the woman got pissed and left. Lucky wifey wasn't hurt. I proceeded to lecture her vigorously about the dangers of her actions.

Never at gas stations (once I left Vegas) but damn near everywhere else in Philly. Seems to be a seasonal surge too. As soon as the weather gets nice the numbers increase 10 fold. A lot of them are the 2 guys-1 girl-and-a-dog groups during the summer. Guarantee they are on break from college.
