AC Schnitzer will be debuting their latest models at next week's Frankfurt IAA, and one of them will be their 6 series convertible.

It's based on the 650i, but the power has been tuned up significantly to 540hp (from standard 407hp). These gains come from an ECU tune and a new exhaust system.

Cosmetic enhancements include a new front spoiler lip, radiator grille, and rear apron.

Brakes have been upgraded with new 8 piston calipers in front. The car has been lowered with Schnitzer springs and sit on 21" Schnitzer wheels.

We will bring you more info and coverage next week from the Frankfurt IAA.

Generally hate all things AC Schnitzer, but this doesn't look half bad. Not too fond of the rear diffuser, but the front lip and steering wheel looks very nice. Those wheels, eh. Nevertheless, let the 6-er tuning begin!

Very nice front lip, and the diffuser looks okay

But that wheel style idrive knob is still horrible.

AC

Ugly exterior...doesn't flow. Interior and engine looks good in my opinion.

With the cost of that kit installed you could probably have bought a brand new 335 M sport and paid cash. And still saved the almost 100k that you already spent on the 6. Pass...

Not bad but wheels don't match the car.

540 hp is near M6 territory... wonder if BMW had any call or had some pressure on AC not to bump the hp more

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

Many of the same old parts retrofitted for the new 6. I would not do the full kit.

This is a bumpy road. I'm not sure I like any of those mods, especially the accompanying price tag.

What sort or warrantee do they offer with mods? Haha

Apart from the somewhat OTT on-center indicator stripe, I really like the look of the steering wheel.
My old '08 E92 MS had that lovely tactile perforated leather, which is sadly lacking on my F10.

Yeah, love that perforated leather - it's one of the reasons I stayed with E9x for my new order instead of moving to F10.

iDrive button is disgusting. Looks like something off a blinging Cadillac lol...

Wheels are okay, something more aggressive would have fit better on a 6series.

Everything else is great. Very mean car and with and extra 137hp, well done. Moderate gain on a turbo set-up tho no? Maybe BMW did influence the build.

Just my 2 cents...

Different lower grill on the top two pics. Do you get to choose?
iDrive knob = disgusting.
ACS wheels are as ugly as ever
Rest is one of their better jobs recently. I wouldn't go for it tho.
