First Clear Look at 2012 6-series M-Sport Kit!

We bring you the first clear look at the 2012 6-series M-sport kit on an F13 coupe. Although covered in camouflage tape, it's easy to make out the shape and style of the various 6-series M sport parts - the front bumper, sideskirts, and rear bumper. In our opinion, the beefy new front bumper which adds to the 6-series' thin and angular front fascia gives BMW's top end coupe a much more aggressive character.

The front bumper draws some lines from the F10 5-series M-sport (notably the middle portions), but the bottom/side parts of the side air inlets appear to taper in rather than go straight down as in the F10's. Also, the front splitter fins don't appear to come to an angle as on the F10 M-sport. The sideskirts appear most similar to the F10 M-sport's. The rear is the hardest to discern in its current form, but we'll bring you more telling pics as soon as we can.

It's just okay imo. Those vents still make the front end look disproportionate. I'm afraid they'll screw up the top of the rear diffuser like they did on the 1M and M-sport F10. I'm hoping it'll look better with some different wheels and fully exposed/detailed bodyparts.

I just wish they could shake the tank look of this car.

Pics are kinda useless, I don't believe the kit can possibly this ugly for a production version. I like BMW's kits, I think it'll be great for the 6 series.

I would love to see that turbo V8 in something smaller than a 5/6/7 series.

This is what the stock kit should have looked like. The thing I like the least about the F12/F13 (besides the fact that it's a turbo) is the super large opening in the lower front bumper.

Love the 6!!

I think the new 6 is beautiful!!

I just wish it had LED blinkers always, not just when buying the LED headlamps.
Cheers,

This 6er looks like a pig in the turns! Man does it lean a bit! I do rather like the styling though. Except for those turn signals inside the headlights.

Sadly this new 6 manages to be technically cutting edge yet wholly undesirable at the same time - this sort of bland GT was previously largely the purview of the Japanese (Lexus, Infiniti). Even Jag's coupes seem much more sporting - or at least more appealingly styled? Disappointing... Mercedes and Audi seem to do these large GT coupes better.

This is not for circuit, an M3 will do the job much better..
But for a fast autobahn drive is very good
It will look much more agressive with the M Pack!

Looks good in black with those rims.

Hopefully, we're able to see less camo white versions of the car out there. Would like to see how those design lines look when the cars are white.
