Wow gorgeous. It's a huge improvement from the previous gen 6 imo. If there is more interior space vs the old model then I think this would make a wonderful dd.

The thing I hate the most are those turn signal lights which are located under headlamps...They look like bags after sleepless night...and the worst thing is that their colour is ORANGE like in old cars 10 years ago...!!!
WHY ORANGE BMW???

The BMW 6 series Convertible is NOT being shown at the LA AutoShow.

It's official premiere has been adjusted to the NAIAS in Detroit this coming January, which during the NAIAS, BMW will communicate first details of the Coupe in the run up to it's World Premiere in Geneva this coming March.

The premiere at the NAIAS is closer to the official market launch in the Spring for some markets. Whilst the Coupe launch is closer to the late-summer market launch.

Looks like a 7 series. Prefer the uniqueness of the old one

man, ME TOO!!! and I thought i was the only one hoping for some Bangle-ness!

honestly, i was so excited when i saw the concept initially, but then this production version came out and... the butt/rear totally ruined everything. nothing seems right now. and i absolutely don't get the black casing around the front and rear lights! what the freak are they there for?! haha...

hopefully i'll change my mind when i see one on the road...

I also noticed same thing. But, obviously B&O system comes only with coupe since conv version audio is worse anyway. I spoke with interior designer in Paris and he confirmed that they have worked "extensively" with B&O in order to create a real high end system, so it's not just a "audio-concept" but a real thing coming later on.

I really hope the production M6 will look better. I just can't get over the fact that it looks like an updated and bigger version of the R170 SLK's...
I can totally see the correlation, two headlights and four wheels

can't wait to see the M6 that thing should be beautiful

And me on the the list that prefers the old 6. But I'm sure my opinion will change when I see it in person.

This car doesn't have a hard top for the very same reason Porsche, Audi, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Maserati, and Jaguar don't use hard tops.
