Why a soft Top?? the 3 and the Z have a hard top, but not there flagship coup/ convertible. the car is OK looking, im sure it'll grown on me, but the convertible is disappointing.

I must say LARGE instead of big...this car is so large in a bad way.
I kinda wished it to be long but sexy as SL.

I'm sorry... the convertible looks HORRIBLE. It looks long...WAAAYY TOOO LOONG! Looks too feminine.
The other pics of the coupe look much better so I guess we will just have to wait. I do have to say that the new design language for the front end of BMW's does NOT look good and I am not just talking about the big grilles... The open month bottom valance is just silly. The only good thing I guess is that the M-Sport will always look so much better because they will have a nicer front end...compare the new 5 series front end to the newly revealed 5 series M-Sport. I have been in the market for an 07-08 M6 but I am on the fence because I want to see if I should wait for the new 6... but now I am not sure.

Too long. And the passenger compartment doesn't really look THAT much bigger than the 3 coupe. Certainly not to the same ratio as the overall car size. And is it just me or is BMW overhands getting longer and longer with each car?

I am guessing it is because of the cost of parts required for a mechanical hard top. BMW got smart and is going to start charging a premium price for a "hardtop option." I hope its not passed 5k. I honestly think it should of came standard as hardtop, but I can see why they made it an option. But all in all, it's kind of funny to see someone drive a flagship car that is going to be base model without a hardtop
