Okay returned my 2014 650ix Gran Coupe to the dealer after 6+ months with me. Great car, looks great but it a little more than I would like from a size standpoint and too much of a GT for me. Also just got notice that I am being moved this summer and taking the GC overseas would likely be a huge factor (no pun intended). Need something more fun and intimate to tear up the M1 in the land of Clarkson.

Checked with Dinan and ECU can be reused by new owner. Just need to pay for install and software (much less than full retail price for whole kit if you factor in saving from sale here) dinan Harness and ECU are included and transferable to new car. Also Intercoolers are a direct retrofit.

Might be a long shot but do you know if the intercoolers will fit on an F10 550i?

Yes they would. Same Intercoolers and engine between cars just slightly different piping hardware/houses routing. But yes would fit I am told. Same part # for both models

Yeah my bad, I should have specified that I have the N63, car is a 2011.

yeah but I doubt the intercoolers themselves are different probably just mounting points and hardware and hoses to attached. I'd give Dinan or dealer a call as it will still be cheaper to retrofit them than a new purchase and labor. Have only been on car for about 3 mos. Won't know for sure unless u ask em! What's to lose...lots to gain!

Yes I did. I modded/upgraded the 650ix GC but couldn't get out of it what I needed/wanted. Not enough interaction with the driver. Felt more like I was piloting it versus driving it. Too big/luxurious and more of a GT. Just couldn't put my finger on it as it looked great but the only thing I was doing in the end was making a faster bigger great looking BMW if that makes sense. So went back to what I knew and previously loved (had an e92 M3 that I drove everywhere and loved it) and gave them the 650ix GC back after 6 mos for an F80 M3. Thought about the F10 M5 (as I'd had a 550i) but in the end I just thought the M3 was more involving as a driver. Besides just acquired a X5M CPO'd so I have something for speed and distance and hauling people/things!

But yeah check it out...don't think/doubt the intercoolers have changed much between engines N63 and N63TU but likely hardware to mount varied or has. But give Dinan or a Dinan tuner a call and see what they say. Great mod. One of the 1st ones I did on my 550i too when I had it.
