How did you manage to convince them?

As mine doesn't do it when the dealership is testing it

Video recording the issue often helps. Nothing seems to misbehave in front of the mechanics!

Failed at trying to get it fixed!

Useless service at Steven James Enfield this time.

Supposedly if it doesn't do it when the person booking it tries, then it's not a fault!

What's the point of this AUC warranty?

My driver windows will do this 2-3 times per year. When under warranty, the dealer did a fix, however it came back. I suspect this is over sensitive software. As I can reset the window by cycling it up and holding the button on setting the up limit and then move it down setting the stop limit. Seems to work for about 4 or 5 months and then I need to do the up and down-y thing again.

I thought I was a genius when I considered the alternator may be why the windows work when the car is moving, so it MUST be a battery problem. Checked the battery, and sure enough, it was only producing half power. I MUST be right! Right? $300 later with a new battery and the windows are still wonkadoo. /facepalm

The stealership says I need 2 new window motors, but why would the motors be broken if they work perfectly fine while driving?
Hi, did you manage to fix the problem ? i have excactly same issue... as soon as i step on gas the window will close perfectly

Same problem

Hello All,

I have the problem on my passenger window.

The worst part is when I press-long on the remote to close all, the window rolls down and I think I have the car closed, but not.

Did the reset procedure worked for anyone?

I see some grease marked on the window... can be a roller?

Did some good cleaning helped someone?

Thanks!

the only proper fix is a new Window regulator and guides.
They are not cheap.

I have the issue on my drivers door, press 1 click to roll it up but gets 3/4 up and stops, you have to press the switch 2/3 times to get it up. Its like it gets stuck or thinks there is something in the way!
Might have to get warranty on it and sort it lol
