Recall: 2013 650i Control Module ECU

Received a call this week from my BMW dealer that there is a recall on my 2013 650i N63TU model. Never really have heard anything about this, or maybe I just missed it, but thought it best to share with the group.

Have an appointment next week for my 39K mile 2013 650i, "cream puff". It's for a Re-Program of the Control Module/ECU. Hmmm.

Anybody heard about this particular recall?? Thanks.

You'll need to give us the TSB number....
Or when it's serviced, take a pic of the work order. I'm curious myself if it's related to the S63 as well

Bad dealer info.

Finally got the truth out of my area dealer, No recall, TSB at the best. SA just said, "BMW really recommends it".

Passed on the re-flash. After 68 months of original ownership, car just runs too good. If it's not broke don't fix it.
