***!&!! - Pretty sure I just goofed up in a major way

2013 650i Coupe, with late model year N63.

Had the low coolant light on and added some distilled water / coolant mix to the cap in the attached pictures.

I searched forever for the actual coolant filler neck (not shown in the manual for the 650). I assumed that the cap pictured was where I needed to add it. Well, after I did, I just happened to look at the front (right under the plastic engine cover) and found where it really was.

So...what mayhem have I caused by adding about 0.5L of coolant to whatever is under that cap in the pictures. Sumofabitch


Edit - if it matters, cap reads "do not open when engine hot"

You are fine. At first I thought you screwed up because the N63 650 has the expansion tank before the shock tower. N63TU changed the location to behind shock tower..

Thanks for the reply. All the documentation I could find (including the manual) is pre-N63TU.
