Finally ID6 installed

After putting this mod off for so long I finally pulled the trigger and brought the retrofit with working factor nav and carplay. It literally changed the interior and interface of the car to feel newer. I got mine from naviandbmwparts.

Thinking of doing the same but worried I may lose some functionalities like map directions on head up display.

Do you have head up display? Does it still work after the retrofit?

The vender I used in the video description retrofit a gps antenna on the unit as a standard item. I have 2024 maps and it works with my heads up display as the OEM functions.

I love this mod and wished I did it sooner.

Let me know if you pull the trigger.

It is nice to update the head unit to ID6, but 2-3K installed? Not cheap but some may find it worth it.

Thanks for the info/post. I just ordered this same setup, with the touchscreen upgrade. Should be 5-7 days out. Can't wait to install it.
