M//2
I drive my M//6 on the M2 mode...all power everthing on max... all the time..... Is that going to become a problem?????.. I know its expensive as hell. Gas consumption out the window.. But that's okay bc I Just fell the car at its max power and Torgue....

Engine setting is the throttle response setting and does nothing do anything with power. Indeed the maximum power/torque is always there @ specific RPM no matter what mode you are in ; so there is no problem at all except as you said fuel consumption...most of the time I do the same thing and it's fun to drive specially in S3 mode

I have to drive in heavy traffic on the way to work. The high settings which I programmed as M2 are just too torquey and the car a little tense to do that all the time. I usually use my M1 which is less intense and easier to handle in traffic. This is second tier settings. I notice a larger jump in performance from second tier to third tier settings than default to second tier. It would seem logical that driving the car on full settings all the time would certainly stress it more than default. However, that was likely figure into the equation when they designed the system.
