New or Used M6
Hi All, I'm thinking about purchasing either a new or used M6. I'm coming from an e92 M3. I do like the looks of the new M3/M4, but for some reason I am having a really hard time trading my M3 for a new M3. I just like the V8 sound of my car, even though the new M3 has tons of power. So I decided to go for the monster, the new M6. Anything that I need to be aware of if buying used? Any issues or concerns that you guys are having with yours?
Thank you in advance for your opinions. Eric

Actually at almost 15k on the clock I feel my car is faster and stronger than the day first which was brand new
The depreciation on this car is too much so if you want to buy it, it's better to get a used one with low mile. Since you are coming from M3 I have to add that this car is not like M3. I mean I would never ever buy a used M3 since I know it's most likely abused by the previous owner, but I believe M6 is strong enough to be abused easily ... one more hint! Don't be so confidant when you are behind the wheel for first months. This is a monster and don't think it's an easy car for you because you are coming from another M car...you have to give your body some times to be adopted to the crazy power and torque of this monster Goodluck!

Yep. Depreciation on a M6 can BE a M3 almost lol. Better to buy pre-loved for a discounted price.
I agree with ^^^ don't think you have it under control. It will remind you it's in control, especially at low speeds if you decide to nail it. |

I purchased mine new with European Delivery. 130k MSRP w close to 20k off on ED. I don't mind depreciation if I plan on keeping the car for a while. I've never gotten a used BMW before. I prefer brand spanking new.
