Can someone point out the changes between the '15 and '16
I've read what the changes between the two are but I can't see them. Can this even be considered a facelift. I know the regular 6 series you can see a difference but the M6 I cannot see any differences besides the grill.

I don't know if it is just the way the pictures were taken in the original post, but it appears that the spoiler is more prominent in the '16. The left picture seems to show the spoiler jutting out more on the left side of the car. Also, the tail lights in the '16 appear to have a dotted LED look, as opposed to the striped look on my car. The dots appear to be rather prominent in the photo of the '16.
Again, I don't know if it is just picture quality. From the original post I thought the headlights squinted more, but that does not seem to be the case based on M6-Coupe's post. Might be a little more angry-looking (upper strip may have a slightly greater angle), but it's hard to tell for sure. You can definitely see some difference in the headlights from that post, through, especially along the bottom. Last edited by JimM6GC; 01-18-2015 at 01:12 PM.. |

I was thinking of trading in my 2014 but these changes don't warrant an upgrade.
A. I thought we would get LCD gauge pack B. Updates Idrive like my 2015 X6 C. More to the performance options maybe.. I wonder if BMW will release some kind of limited model to run up sales like the M3 or something. |

I personally like the pre-LCI headlights as they are. More striking when you have the flashers or turn signal on.

British press seem to be saying that the "new M6" will have more adjustment for the suspension plus a switchable exhaust. German website/price list says no Comp Package until July. Don't know about the US market. What's going on?

I have a 2015 X5 as a loaner now....the screen is the new one in the X5. It's just a smooth screen (as are the heating and A/C controls) as opposed to that frosted type feel on the navi screen now. Definitely looks higher quality and the navi screen gives a better picture as a result.
