Interior Trim Question

Has anyone tried to change the interior trim? I am looking at a M6 that has the carbon fiber trim and I don't like it. Any suggestions?

Yeah... Keep the carbon fiber trim. It's the best trim for the car.

Yes it can be changed, there are some DIY docs on various forums, it is not inexpensive to purchase the trim.

I'm sorry but that's pretty bad advice imo. He wants to change the trim, not the gearbox.

OP, the dealer can have it changed for you no problem or you can do it yourself.

I wasn't trying to be sarcastic, I thought he hadn't yet purchased the car. I've seen them come from the factory with the piano black trim and it can be ordered with it.
