New GC owner with question

Hi all

I just picked up a 2014 M6 Gran Coupe and am loving it so far. I have noticed in my car that whenever I start it the rear defroster is on and can't be switched off. When I press the button nothing happens, the light above the button remains on. It does eventually switch off after 15 mins or so on its own. I keep my climate control on auto with the sync button enabled and the auto recirculate on. Not sure if it is relevant but I have the 4-zone climate option.

Any thoughts or do I need to take it to dealer?

That is so you won't have cold hands if you have to push it when it won't start!!

(Better take it to the dealership, probably the button is stuck or something.)

sounds like a defect to me, your climate zones shouldn't affect when the rear defroster comes on. And it shoudn't default on, and should definitely turn off when you push the button...take it to a dealer.

Congrats! Awesome car - I am sure it is a simple fix. What color/specs did you get? I just got one too and am loving it. Pics too!

Thanks all. Jcbh I went with San Marino Blue with Sakhir Orange interior which a beautiful combination but not for everyone.
