I'm curious about your thoughts on the M6 CanAutM3 as you're into high performance driving and so on, as it tends to achieve similar lap times to an M4, obviously slower around corners and quicker in a straight line.

i was going to post it too! Good video showing off the m perf exhaust or akra!

I have a question though... i have a comp pack exhaust with valves wired open, is it worth investing into the akra?

The M6 is too big of a car for my taste.

What got me in my first ///M car 15 years ago is the combination of a track capable and (almost) ready car that can also serve a practical daily driver (with a decent amount of luxury). My M3/2 have served me extremely well in that respect.

I did test drive a CP M6 (the 575hp version) and found it mesmerizingly quick above 100mph. That car pulls likes there is no tomorrow. What worries me the most is the operating cost for track use. Such a heavy car with that much horsepower must go through consumables (tires/brakes/fuel) at a very fast rate. Further, I also found the M6 very heavy and not very nimble compared to my E92 at the time.

The M6 is an amazing car, but the M4 is better suited for my specific needs.

Looking forward to it, will bang the GoPro on the backend in next few days.Am hoping it's just the rebranded Akra and not been turned down which I don't think it has.
This vid below is crap, but if you listen to the sound from the first few revs I think it will be mega and especially when broken in after the first 1k miles

Niklas

Went to do a video for you, cut a long story short ,it fell of the bloody car and I couldn't find it.Have ordered another so will take a clip for you as soon as it arrives.
What I can say is ,it is like I expected and sound is up another level from the CP exhaust and very exotic .Put 150 miles on it yesterday and it's starting to get the nice distant thunder booms and pops coming off throttle, it will only get better as its breaking in.
Saw on your other thread you got a good offer from your dealer , I paid 5.4 all in and free fitting at my dealer .
Go a head and get it, you won't regret it and get them to wire open the valves while it's on the ramp.No drone whatsoever

The Akra weave on tips is just amazing

Thank you so much for your help and i will get it arranged to be done soon. Just got to save up a few cashes but hopefully not too long a wait

Im so glad to hear that the sound is exotic! Who are the downshifts? As you id it will only get better and better and as i understand as the exhaust is titanium it sounds even better when hot

Nice to see you on this side of forum buddy...M6 is heavy and the cost of track is more than M3/M4 (as you correctly mentioned) BUT if you get used to that power/torque you will figure out it's a nimble car and I believe the M6 CP is even faster than M4 over many tracks.. why? because the following video shows M5 30 Jahre (which is slower than M6 CP) is almost as fast as M4 even though the driver of M4 is an M4 owner with months of experience with his car and not that much experience with M5... I know this is old video and have been watched a lot but not bad for one more time
