2014 Gran Coupe Moonstone
Picked up my GC this week. I shot a few pics to try to compare what Moonstone looks like in different lighting. It seems to pickup colors around it but definitely blue in sunlight and close to what I remember to be Mineral Silver without sun.

Enjoy your car, Fantastic colour - seems to show off the swage lines on the car well.
Better than rep-mobile Titanium Silver Betting a contrast roof (black vinyl wrap) would show off the sweeping coupe profile to maximum effect as the car has a sunroof.

May I ask, how are you liking the ride of the 19" wheels? did you get all season or performance tires and did you consider the 20"s when ordering? |

19 v 20" was the toughest decision for me. 20's look amazing on 6's. This is my only car so I went with the 19" all season tires which is the same I had on my previous car (535M xdrive). I am pleased with the ride and all season performance.

Good, I haven't tried the all season 19s but I would think they are still a bit more comfortable than the performance 19s and definitely more noticeable if comparing to the 20s. 19s all season is what I have now on my order and on the fence about the 20s. I still have a couple weeks to decide. Thanks for the feedback.

Some will tell the all season tires are not good but I have had no trouble until the snow gets deep enough to turn your car into a plow. Ground clearance is more of a factor if you are a sensible driver IMO. I live in the midwest and there were only 2 days in the last 3 years that I couldn't drive. Both were 10" snow days.

Just as an aside DR1er, ordered my DSB 640 ix vert a week ago today. Was told it would be a second week of Jan build for late Feb delivery. Both the website and the 800 number told me TODAY construction started sched for completion Dec 20!!!!!!!!
Very excited but the point is, you may have less time than you think to change your mind. |

Went with the 19s, all season
Live in NYC, long weekends (winter and summer) in northern Vermont. One car family. Kids now done with college. Trading 5 GT for the vert. Still not sure if I'll dump the run flats for Michelin AS 3s or Conti DWS or just try the OEMs to start But I'll be driving it in snow so we'll see. Last edited by WWnyc; 12-12-2013 at 09:56 PM..
