Muffler Delete
Who here has installed a muffler delete system. Did you buy an aftermarket or did you build it yourself? I am considering and looking for what you all have actually done on the M6.

I have the turner Muffler Delete on my car and it sounds much better than stock. If I had to do it again though I would just take it to a Muffler shop and save a lot of money. Add catless downpipes and it will increase sound levels 3x at least

I deleted mufflers first for two reasons, sound and looks (tiny tips look funny). Expected a big difference but it wasn’t really noticeable. A little more grumble but nothing significant. Reason is the stock mufflers are practically straight through once the flaps open. The next week my car was in the shop for resonator delete. Made a significant difference in depth and overall sound including turbo noise which I love. Any “custom” exhaust shop can do it. Much cheaper and it’s a simple job. Hardest part is lining up the new tips with the bumper so they’re even (get 4”tips). I plan to do catless dps also but waiting for tune so no CEL.

yes resonators have been left on. I was told it makes no difference at this stage.

Hmm I see. Will it give me more drone though? I don't need more

Yeah it will drone more without them. I took them off and kept the OEM DP's on with an Eisenmann sport/valves exhaust so if i ever go with DP's I can control the noise a little with the valves on the mufflers.

Thanks for all the responses... I am thinking on this... I opened the "flap" and not sure I can handle that bit of drone...but I need to shut down ASD before I make final judgement!
