6 series sightings

thought this might be a fun way to post our run ins with other 6 series cars and potentially connect with their owners!

I had a busy weekend, seeing 3 different 6 series. First encounter was with a black 650 coupe during thanksgiving break pick up at a certain private school in northwest Connecticut. Car was moving at the time so no further details.

2nd encounter was with an unmolested black 650 GC in Sharon, CT. It was parked and I was moving, so no further details, but it appeared to be sapphire black metallic.

3rd encounter was either a 6 series or M6, I think it was a coupe, but couldn't tell anything for sure because I was blinded by all the flashing lights of New Jersey's finest that had it pulled over on the southbound side of the NJ Turnpike somewhere near exit 8 I think, about 5:30pm Saturday evening (11/18/17). I didn't get that close a look at it, and couldn't even see color, of course I was doing almost 90 when I flew by since the driver had so graciously occupied the only NJ state trooper in the area.

Anyone else see 6 series cars out and about?

Saw a white 6 series coupe today - it was on 15 northbound in PA, around Selinsgrove. Anyone on here?

I own mine for two yrs and haven't seen another one yet , I live in Daytona beach area and travel to St. Augustine for work (eastern central ) Florida

A couple of weeks ago while I was filling up with Shell V-Power premium another 2006 M6 coupe (silver, without the carbon fiber roof) pulled into the adjacent pump. Quite a coincidence in a small town an hour east of Toronto. He was filling up prior to winter storage. I just put mine into storage two days ago. I had thought that the carbon fiber roof was standard equipment ? Mine also has the optional interior c-f trim. He moved to another pump as ours were pre-pay only, so I did not get a chance to learn where he lived. Maybe we will meet again sometime next year, I hope.

Could anyone help me figure out why I can't start a new thread? Do I need a specific post count or something?

Trying to find a good camber kit for my rears so my car stops eating up the inside of my tires (swapped out rims from originals).

I think there is a post minimum before you can start a thread. Trying to make it more work for spammers.

Start with an alignment - Not sure what wheels and tires you are running, but a 10" wheel and a 295 tire will wear perfectly even on a properly aligned car. I just ran my summer set past the wear bars and they wore perfectly even.

Long shot but spotted a silver 62 plate 6 series coupe a couple times in the morden / wimbledon area (London, UK). I do love glancing at it as it's a lot like mine

Saw one blue 650i on Route 50 (Maryland) right outside of DC and a blue 640i in DC on NY Ave that gave me a little run at the light 😁. I was in a white 640i.
