Side view camera malfunction popup

I'm having an issue when I press the camera button on my console, I hear a bong and a message come up on the dash that says "Right side view camera malfunction" the camera works fine and I only get the message when I push the camera button. I went into ISTA and tried to do a relearn of the camera and it says camera disconnected, not responding but it is and displays an image. I did disconnect and reconnect the camera and no change. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get error removed?
