iPhone reverts to 1st song when restarting car

About 50% of the time, my iPhone (via usb) reverts to the 1st song on the playlist instead of picking where it left off (wither a song or a podcast).

Anyone else have this issue?

I believe I have the latest software.

I believe my USB stick with music files on it does the same thing!

I am sick of hearing a la menthe (its the 1st song in my iPhone)

Is this a known issue? My problem is when I dont want to hear music but is plays anyways... even closing the music app doesnt work. The only way to fix it for me is to turn off my stereo

Since I listen to podcats more than music on my iPhone, i turned off thew music app and so far so good, though it sometimes says unknown on screen

Spoke to soon, the song played again...What is really odd, double clicking phone button did not show music app playing, so no way to kill.

I mostly listen to podcast and for some reason my iTunes always comes on to the first song when I restart the car instead of what I was just listening too. Hate it
