Picked him up on Saturday and already loving it, house move well we are still tidying
Yesterday came and the weather was awful sadly so Friday the MX5 is gettting a wash to remove the salt and grime after working from home as she only needs a maintenance wash and Sunday the 6' shall get it's first 2 bucket wash, then a bit of DI water considering the water is so hard around here, decon (iron X, tar X and then clay block) followed by Gtechniq C2 version 3. |

+1 for Kent. Picking up my 640d this coming weekend. I'm sure I will have a few questions once I have had it for week or so, but for now I am just counting down the days |

Another Kent 6er GC here
Nearly 2 years in with mine and my second 6er loved the vert but the GC is a far superior car great to meet with other gc er's.

Got mine detailed up - swirls are minor i want to do the black trim most of all as it is heavily swirled. Werkstat prime and gtechniq c2 on paint, glass with gtechniq g5 (not g1 as i cannot guarantee the weather), wheels with carpro perl and carpro reload to protect.
Inside got dr leather cleaner and dye block, cleaned the mats and carpets, dodo juice for glass inside and poorboys interior trim dressing. I will not go for full correction as i will be using it all the time and i dislike coatings. |

Yes, pick up on Saturday am. Very comfortable drive home from Northampton gave me a chance to play with some of the gadgets. Am extremely impressed. Have just let go of my beloved XKRS and it really doesn't feel like a compromise to get something more practical. Will post a pic when I work out how to do that in here...

I noticed that Werkstat prime (or Carlack long life as it is now) boosted the gloss nicely on mine. Although if you are aiming to couple it with more warmth then the wax will help, easiest way to do that is aiming for something with lots of actual 'nuba in it. Although, in some cases that does come at a durability cost (if you have a sealant under it that should be less of a concern). |
