A "Old Man's Car" until they run into a 63.

remember .... it has the tech you will see in a civic in 10 years from now.

I'd go and look at the 2016 S63 AMG with all the options and Carbon Ceramic Breaks ... you will not be disappointed

Exactly... it's his money and his decision but to be honest I love M2 and wish I was in 20's to get this car... at 40's it's not a good choice IMO
And I believe S class is an "Old Man's Car" Let's say over 60 ?! ... but wait S63 Coupe is a little better... Maybe 50's

Lol

Need 4 doors (most of the time) AND REAR SEATS FOR BOOSTER SEATS for kids or would have been R8 or Lamborghini or 911 turbo S as those back seats only good for brief cases

All my S classes made sense due to kids ... As did My 2 M6 Cabs ... Our old suburban and now GLK

But just like EE ... Beauty is in the eye of he beholder ... And tolerance of back pain of the bearer ... Not everything is beautiful ... Overkill sucks and recks natural beauty

We are getting older, no doubt there .... And we have had our share of amazing toys .... And more yet to come

IMHO the M2 is something I would get for my wife . The S63 Coupe looks more manly.

If you are worried or asking about MPG, then this car is not yours
BTW, the MPG for this car is horrible... maybe 10-12 or even worse
Heavy weight and high power = more gas to move

Just fossil fuel

I can get 23.5 to 26 mpg or 11 to 12L/100 km under normal driving to and from work (26 km One way of which 20 km is highway cruising) with the S63 ... And it is not a bad look magnet for an old man's car ... And the AMG 4matic Has been amazing

The 5.5L biturbo V8 is a technological marvel at 590 hp and 668
... Stomp on it in AMG sport and it's another story

The 4.4 L biturbo in the M6 likely more efficient under the same driving conditions but will have to see as she only been driven 3 months then parked

I was in the new BMW750Li at the fairmont pacific rim ... Nice interior ... Not to keen on the exterior ... I hear the 760Li is quick but not going to be badged as an M7 ...
Not sure what would give it the M blessing ... Sad ... I guess that really makes for an OLD MAN's car ... Say 70's ... Is that about right M6-Coupe

Eurika ... I now get the M badges on the 7 series cars ... It is much younger guys trying to make the 7 series appear to be a younger man's ride

Royce will they sell you a 760Li?

Just kidding Royce ... Enjoy the cars and buy and drive what you like ... Sans the fake badges ... Stay true to yourself bro

I've never tried for the 760Li. I wasn't going to badge my car as a M6, I just wanted the front bumper, fenders and rear diffuser. It's looks way more attractive, aggressive and beefier than the M Sport. M sport looks thin to me when it comes to rear diffuser, fronter bumper and fenders.

I should've expected that, it should be affordable being that the gas prices in NY are $2.50 for 93.
