Tyres 275/30/20s feedback

Hi all,

Just want to see what peoples thoughts are regarding tyres. Here in the Uk the 6 comes with runflats (not sure on the m6 though)

I need two rears and have a cracking price on potenza re050a's but im debating coming away from the runflats.. Anyone done the same or recommend tyres?

Not quite the same size but my winter's (255/40/19's) are not run flat's. Aside from the change in handling going from summers to winters. I find the ride is a bit softer and doesn't feel like it effects turn. But my winter non run flat's have a higher load rating which probably goes some way to explaining this. When I changed to non rft's on my 3'er the turn in suffered and it felt a lot less direct but comfort increased significantly.

Will never have run-flats again; great idea, but nobody's made one that feels like it is running less than 80 psi...run flats and 20 inch wheels are a particularly bad idea.

The reality of the M6 tires tells the story on what BMW really thinks about RFT's.

M6's are only equipped with high performance traditional tires////NO RFT.

My non RF 275 & 245s are being put on tomorrow. Cant wait to see how much of a difference.

Im not used to the tyre shimmering left and right and the loudness of the RFs let alone the landmind potholes u feel

Having experience with both (RF tire on my 650i and non RF on my M6) I'm telling you... RF is sucks ... it's too heavy and car is too lazy with this tire

RF sucks. Learn to live without. Some say BMW did this to save cost by eliminating a spare, or t reduce weight. In any case it was a decision that sounded great, but is really poor. You need not look any further than the non runflat equipped wheels of M cars in a parking lot.

I hated the RF from day 1 when they design this tyre. I change to PSS and loving it, the ride is so much better and quieter.
Go for PSS the best can go wrong

Just bought these WHEELS and they came with run flats that are a much rougher ride. What tires do you guys recommend for your 650?
