I hate to say it, but on the documentation I have, you can no longer lease a 2014 6-series as of January 5th. That might be regional OR it could be the fact that I've had a glass of wine or two - but I do not see the 2014 6-series numbers at all. Maybe check with your dealer?

Any 2014 isn't available to lease anymore based off residual %..it's all dollar based now (all lease residual programs are only available on 15 and upcoming 16 models) So you're looking at 2K+ on a heavily discounted m6, sucks. So better look at a 15 if you want to keep the MO pmt between 1500-1800 with minimum drive off.

This is exactly why you need to pick them up in December when the dealers are desperate to get rid of them. Now they have a 120k+ car that someone has to finance.....YEA RIGHT!

Hahahah worse than People imagine man. I was looking for a second M6- and found one that was discounted down to 110k Earlier this month. The CA was all excited and enticing me on what a great deal they had!.... Monthly payment- 2400 with 5K down.

Mind you- the M6 I have right now had i not prepaid the lease- would be 1390 a month -_-

Needless to say, I'm currently waiting for the 16s allocations to open so I can place my next order in

I'm going to wait till the new body style or the X6M.

Something I had in mind that 6M doesn't have:
1- No LED interior, it's all old yellow bulbs.
2- No Ceramic controls!!!!!
3- No updated iDrive. F15 is smooth and looks more upscale.
4- No auto trunk.
5- Rear glow lights seem dimmed. My F15 glow lights rear look sharp.
6- No Sunroof.

Some of thing things I would really miss... I think that the X6M would be a better choice. It feels more updated than the 6. I love the 6 style, it's just breath taking, for interior wise compare to the new F15, falls behind.

Ehhi I dunno, the 750 I had before my M6 came with all of those features, and they're good to have but not exactly life changing. That said, there is one thing that the M6 has that the X6M will never have - and it's good looks!

LMFAO, if those are reasons you are going to get a X6M over a M6GC, have fun. I don't think anyone gives a sh** about the brightness or dimness of the lights of a $140k car coming down the road with 560HP.

It's supposed to be a race car.....hence the CF roof (which you apparently don't know the purpose of).

X6M looks like a X4....I don't know know why BMW makes any SUV's besides the X5 or X3. This isn't an X5 blowout, you aren't going to find M6's for $1k month.

I couldn't care less about having led interior lights or auto trunk, etc. I got the car for it's design and performance. Still came with enough bells and whistles that I don't feel much is left out.

I didn't want to say anything either...cause you know- to each their own, Jahaha but I seriously laughed when OP gave the reasons for the x6m over an m6. (Sorry bud!) The m6 looks- GC coupe or cabrio- + performance > any minor lighting "upgrades".

Guys, I don't understand why you get defensive when somebody prefers another car to yours! I mean I have M6 and I truly love this car and am not willing to trade it with any cars other than either next generation of M6 or an exotic car, but it's just my opinion not others! Sometimes, something is more important for people. For example, I was looking for M6 at the time I got mine for weeks just because of Full Leather interior! there were many M6 out there without this feature and it was a deal breaker for me! Maybe OP likes X6M more than M6 for the reasons he said. Maybe he doesn't care if the X6M is ~800 lb heavier or if it doesn't have 7 speed DCT or he like sunroof more than CF roof despite the fact that CF roof beside reducing the weight , lowers the center of gravity and improves the handling. To each his own, but there is a reason there are thousands of models of cars in the market. even BMW have hundred different models for different people with different budget right?
X6M is one of the best looking, powerful SUV and I bet for short races from standstill (ie 0-60) and not rolling she can beat most of the M6 drivers behind their M6 if they don't know how to launch their M6 why? because she has more power, more torque and AWD so when your M6 is trying to get traction, she is meters ahead LOL

Not being defensive. However, if you are going to say you are going to get an X6M because it has some LED interior lights when it really sounds like OP is just way upside down on his X5 and is upset because he can't find an M6 for $50k off....

I just came from a new CLS (which was the first Mercedes model with all LED exterior lights)...and guess what? It didn't have interior LED lights. I don't believe any of the new BMW's except the 2015 X5 have them (I had a F02 750li and it didn't have them, either). LED's are not real good for interior lighting that aren't meant to be on all the time (like ambient lighting).

An automatic trunk? Are you kidding? I believe that feature can be coded in anyways.

X6's are ugly...sorry....even more so for $80k. This is why you see 25 Range or Escalades for every X6 you see. I don't see the point of X6M or X5M's, either.....sounds like BMW kind of just threw those M models together last second because it's like a requirement to have an M model for their different lines. If someone in a SUV tried to race me, I'd laugh. Just being honest

As for the sunroof thing, the high ends cars don't have them. Right, I bet you would pass up that Bentley GT, Lambo, or Ferrari because they don't have sunroofs

My only gripe with the M6 GC is not having the digital instrument cluster like the normal 6 GC.

X6M is 118k fully loaded. M6 is 139k. 20k isn't a big difference.

Sorry man, the automatic trunk that he is talking about is different from what you want to code. It's the feature that all 5 series have (and looks like X5/6 have them also). This feature needs hardware (DC motor) to close the trunk (not to open the trunk) and is available in just those models and not 6 er. There is a button in trunk, I believe the same button we have to lock the doors on inside of trunk, but by pushing that button, the trunk will be closed with no need to be forced by hand. The codding will activate this feature by using the remote key instead of pushing that button.

Again that's subjective! Maybe you don't like the look of X6 but there are people who like it. I bet you don't like and wont buy a 328 while it's the most selling BMW car. Range and Escalades are in different class of X6. Range is a comfort/luxury SUV and Escalade is a real SUV... to me Escalade and Navigator are the only real SUVs. different people cross shop between these cars
