New 640i convertible.

Got the new car last week to replace my 2011 640i and just can't believe the difference.
From previous cars I knew I'd like the HUD, surround view and adaptive drive suspension but the adaptive LED headlights are unbelievable on unlit country roads and the driving assistant plus with active cruise control is absolutely amazing.
I was seriously considering a Porsche Macan but, even with the comfort seats, I coudn't get the head restraint back as far as I wanted.
So glad I stuck with the F12.

Washed, dried and in the garage for the night. Scottish weather permitting I'll take some pics tomorrow.

Thanks, I was going to take some pics today but our lovely Scottish rain kept it in the garage all day.

Glad to hear that someone else agrees about it looking best in SE form; I think it gives it a classic Corniche boulevard cruiser look. Another thing I don't like about BMW M Sport cars is the obligatory fat steering wheel rim - but each to their own...

2015 LCI differences are a much improved sat-nav/idrive, front fog lights, indicators above the headlights - more visible.

I added adaptive drive suspension, driving assistant plus (with adaptive cruise). adaptive LED headlights, HUD, comfort seats and surround view.

I had adaptive drive on an earlier F10 535d and I'm no stranger to its effectiveness, but I can't believe how it transforms the 6. Although there's no direct effect on the steering, it really sharpens up in sport mode and all but eliminates body roll; comfort + is amazing on Edinburgh's cobbled streets.

The adaptive stop/go cruise is great at maintaining a pre set distance and the LED headlights are truly something else.

Really glad I upgraded, especially with the £15k+ dealer discount!
