Break-in Procedure & Redlined. Ooops

Hi Guys,

picked up my shiny new (well, as shiny as the non-metalic white can be. heh.) 640i & just had a ball at 3mph in LA traffic for 4hrs. Car had 3miles on it. I tried to vary the RPM's finally (once traffic did move reasonably) throughout my 90 mile journey home buuutt, 1 block away from home there was a hill, and i was using the paddles to shift down (good intentions. thought now is my opportunity vary for awhile!) and I must have hit it one too many times & redlined the sob.... i immediately let off the gas & hit the paddle to upshift but it *did not* upshift. (i hit it again).... it probably sat at red for 3-4 seconds total (seemed eternity!).

Any thoughts? Is this my O.C.D. acting up & off the charts?

It won't cause any issue. If anything you've taken a few miles off the break in period lol
