BMW 2014 N63TU- 650i convertible m sport- cutouts?

Hey guys,

I have a 2014 BMW 650I convertible M sport. I am looking at the best way to mount the cutout exhaust from Spelag. This will be the 2nd time I have done this. The first was on the 2013 Mercedes GL550 AMG edition. It sounds amazing, not O2 sensor issues, opens and closes great ( 2yrs now) and I get about 40-50 HP since it was done before the Cats also.
Anyone done it on the 2014 650i BMW? Looking for ideas and options. Also getting ready to add a stage 1 kit. Who is the best to get? What are the price ranges? What plugs should I change to? NGK what model? I would like 1 step colder.

I hate to rain on the party, but you are not going to get anywhere near those gains by installing a cutout, even ahead of the cats. There is little /no room to fit cutouts ahead of the cats on the N63.

That is what I am finding as far as space goes. I am definitely getting an increase on my Mercedes which are before the cats. That with a peddle controller does make a big difference. The instant response and a straight pipe out of headers helps greatly.
My problem is where to put it on a 650i?

Great news I found a muffler shop to do the install and I did the wiring. I have the pictures and I am working on some video. IT IS SICK. You can feel a large difference in it open and closed. It sounds like there is 800HP in the car. Purrs nicely when you have a constant idle and any acceleration and wow head back in seat and gone. I am next getting stage 1. then dyno. Need coils and plugs because at 95k miles but it already purrs.

I found a shop. Brought them chocolate malts cause it was hot. Because of that they did the cutouts. No one wants to do them. It is very hard to find a qualified welder that will do it. Expect 500.00 for good work. Other places closer to 300.00 and the speed shops want 1100.00 (fucking joke) it took multiple bends to level out the cutout and keep it from touching heat curtains. Wow does it sound amazing. I did the electric. It wasn't hard but you need to understand what you are doing. Found good YouTube that backed up my plan too. It is welded nice, all electronics is tucked away and it only opens and closes when I have my seat belt on. (Best fuse in trunk for me to use LOL)
Took 2hrs to find out it only works with car on and seatbelt on. Lol
In Lawrenceville GA go and talk to Dave at Mighty Mufflers and bring 3 chocolate malts from DQ next store. Good family owned shop. Next ready for stage 1.
Oh yes also had rims refinished from gloss black and road rash galore to perfect Evo gray with metallic flake in mint condition for $550 (take on and off, acid dip, resurface and fix rash, align rim, power coat any color, Clearcoat, mount and balance) for $550 wtf. ALLIED WHEEL RECYCLING IN BURFORD GA. Also done in 1 to 2 days max. Also paint calipers as well.
