16' Alpina B6 should I buy?

You've found a car that captivates you and have no real reason not to buy it. Go buy it :-)

Here is how my thought process works...

1) Oooooh shiny.... I spend weeks obsessing over it, then I find something else shiny and process repeats.

I get sick of cars really fast and for some reason nothing ever satisfies that itch.

I'm the opposite. I'll fly anywhere in the country for a car I want and drive it home, then I think of it as my "new" car for at least 5 years, then keep it for 7 or 8 years. I'm at 5.5 years on my current car.
