Question about downpipes

I'm looking for some feedback for the guys who have downpipes on installed on their M6's, do you experience an unusual smell in the interior? If so, how bad is it?

When I got my M6 it had catless downpipes. Very loud cold start, the sound is better, you can hear the turbo spooling too. In my case no smell inside the cabin but yes, it is very noticeable when opening the doors.
