Meisterschaft M6

We'll This is my first thread on the M6 forum... Got a screaming deal a few weeks ago on a brand new M6 so I figured F it, you only live once.

This thing was literally exactly what I wanted, my guy goes just drive it...LOL OK...he knew I wouldn't be able to say no...Damn Bimmer dealers LOL they're like crack dealers!!!

So my dad had one a couple months ago before he traded it for a GC...My thoughts were the same as when the ride was free...Only now I had a Meisterschaft GT on my 335 so I could do comparisons...This thing is clearly missing sound...I mean my 335 is clearly louder.

So since Christmas was around the corner I once again said F it...Its turbo-back time(schwarzanegger voice)...Boom!!!

Too bad the weather has literally been shit for the last week plus, but I have an install appt tomorrow, although it is supposed to be ridiculously cold so we will see, but I cant friggin wait...this thing is now truly going to be the beast!!!!

I have only put about 650 miles on it so far because like I said weather has been weird and Im still in the babying phase, but I can honestly say Im not doing shit else to this car besides maybe that sick vorsteiner front and rear diffuser...Dowwwn the road...perhaps...maybe...But in reality I cant wait to track this puppy, its hands down the best car Ive ever owned, and I really get to feel the quality BMW offer's unlike my 335. Update soon gents!!!

Okay so heres the deal...Car sounds absolutely like I wanted it to!!!!!! Just awesome!!! Clearly louder than the 335 now...

The cabin sounds are just breathtaking...same crazy drone though as my 335 around 2500rpm to 2900rpm...Not that bad but its at its loudest at that point.

One thing I forgot to even concider was the CEL light, which I have....so I guess I will need a tune of some sort to taker care of that

All in all I am very happy with the purchase...The butt dyno definitely feels a little extra torque down low, and I haven't felt any difference in the gas pedal, unlike my 335, but haven't been able to get above 80-90 though today so ill update, but it sounds like it should have from the factory...Cheers to GT Haus again, gave me a great deal!!!

Okay so now my question is what is the mildest tune available for this car...And I would prefer flash to a piggy...really only looking to lost the CEL and maybe get some better throttle response, got plenty of power....just did some pulls while running errands early this morning...the turbo back definitely boosts power!!!!

You got a CEL from exhaust only? Did you install catless downpipes?

You shouldn't have a CEL from this install if you didn't touch the downpipes. Congrats on car.

As others have said, CEL from just exhaust?? That should not be the case..Mr Karim is using BMS piggyback which is inexpensive and seems to give great power. I do not believe anyone does a flash yet. I spoke to Dinan their software will be out early spring and that's a flash

If you had catted downpipes, wouldn't have any CEL problems, you can code it out I think

You will have the "check engine" light on if you installed (Catless Downpipes) There is no way around it until a engine tuner releases software which is taking a lot longer then expected.
