Can anyone help recommend a good body repair shop in Glendale, CA area?

Hello

I just got rammed pretty hard by an idiot today. My side curtain and side airbag deployed. My driver side door, mirror, and my ego was injured.

Can anyone please help recommend me a good body repair shop? Should I contact a dealer to repair this?

Update: 8/4/2014

I contacted Pacific BMW, and they sublet it to Elis Autocenter in LA. They said they tow car there which I doubt it since it isn't even close. So, I called BMW NA, and asked for certified repair shop in Glendale. They gave me New Century BMW Repair Center which is BMW CCRC (Certified Collision Repair Center). They said this is the closest BMW CCRC to Glendale which isn't that close at all. In case any other owner runs into a misfortune like I did in LA area. Here is contact information:

New Century BMW Repair Center, CCRC
3001 West Main St, Alhambra, CA 91801
Phone: 626.282.2233

Good luck to all!

One of the reasons we drive these cars is the security of being surrounded by German Steel. Your baby's bruised but saved you.
A little plastic surgery and she'll be fine.
Hope you're OK and in time, even you ego will heal.

Ask your dealer to repair it! They know what they have to do.

Thanks WWnyc! Yeap, the Geo Prism looked like it just ran into a wall. Coolant was leaking everywhere on the scene. My 6er door is difficult close from the dent but drivable. My gf over heard what cops were chatting on the scene. One said that it was amazing, and he told his partner if he already saw the other car. So, this is definitely a well engineered steel even on its side. My left ear still pop from the impact and airbag and my middle left back is a little bruised. My gf hurt her hip from the impact with seat belt lock but nothing serious. But, it could be much worse if the car were to bounce off from the impact and cross into traffic on my right.

Thank you, I will call them up. I just don't know if they usually simply subcontract this type of work. I want them to repair the car with OEM parts and paint.

That's why I recommend the dealer. They usually have a BMW approved shop. The shop will repair your car and then pass it to dealer. Dealer must check every thing and if something is not repaired correctly, send it back to shop. BMW NA is so sensitive about these expensive cars. All parts must be reported to BMW as OEM! Don't worry your car will be as good as it was before accident

Frankly, I didn't get a chance to shop yet. I probably will do that a few months before one of the next long holiday, so we can do performance delivery and make a holiday trip out of it.

I have a 650i GC in Deep Sea Blue metallic. Your car looks like mine.

I've been taking my BMWs to Germantek in Woodland Hills for years. True, it's not Glendale, but for the money and work they are the best I've ever found.

Habib and Alan run the shop.

Hi MalibuBimmer

Thanks for the recommendation, I can always use good places for minor works that I have to pay out of my own pocket in the future.
