The GCs have been getting some pretty good reviews. Most reviews comment that the steering is better than the M5 and the suspension settings are actually tuned for better performance than the M5 (M6>M6GC>M5).
Still nobody brings up the crazy price that BMW is charging for this car. I noticed that BMW recently came out with their M Sport Edition on the lower level GCs in an effort to help with the crazy costs. Still, when so much more than a comparable 5-series/M5, I just don't see them selling very many.

I imagine with the Performance Package it would do even better (which gives it a bump in HP, and revised suspension should likely see it post better lap times).
BTW, when is the M6 scheduled for a LCI/facelift? It seems BMW accelerated the LCI on the 5-er sedan by a yr from its usual 'policy' on LCI occurring at the end of the 4th yr of production (and covering yrs 5 through 7). If BMW follows what they did on the 5-er, that would suggest next summer (2014) we should be seeing the 2015 MY LCI M6 and GC. PS: If you count the 5-series GT, which came out a year before the 5-er sedan, the LCI did follow the 'end of yr 4' schedule, but technically for the sedan it came at end of MY 3.

I guess I have trouble paying $17K for style (that's with the new discounts on the GC). Then again, I shop at Marshalls
