Any idea to remove the rev limiter?

Hi, my 2013 m6 cannot rev above 4k rpm in neutral no matter what settings. Engine fully warmed up.

I also tried yesterday to shift the dct to neutral when coasting. The car act the same. I know there's a protection mechanism to prevent engine damage in newer software; but it shouldn't be activated when coasting, should it?

Does anyone know how to remove the limiter? Will a simple coding via Esys do the trick? Or it must be done by some sort of remap?

Many thanks for any advise.

I would like to know this as well.

Am scratching my head as to why it won't rev over 4K on idle, or when coasting in nutral.
