Sakhir Orange M6 with M Performance Exhaust + Custom CF Tips

The M Performance Exhaust is finally on the car. If you have read my other thread I had the guys at Specialty Automotive Treatments in Fort Lauderdale handle the installation, they also refinished the OEM Carbon Fiber tips which had a non-gloss finish and made them glossy carbon fiber to match my diffuser, lip spoiler, and other CF trimmings. I am absolutely amazed at how good it turned out. The tips look beautiful, and the exhaust sounds amazing. Here are some pics, I'll post video and sound clips soon:

Yeah, you can get the tips from any BMW dealership. You'll need the Akra/MPerf Exhaust to install them on though as they don't fit the stock exhaust, at least not without some considerable modification to the stock pipe ends. Stock pipes are too skinny and not angled correctly for these tips.

Any concerns that the clear will yellow with the heat?

Who did you take that to a paint shop?

The shop I took it to handled the refinishing. They had a paint shop clear the original coating and respray it with 4 layers of clear coat. I'm a little concerned with how it will hold up to heat over time but they told me it shouldn't be much of an issue.

Thanks. I'm loving the CF Tips. I have a Vorsteiner rear lip spoiler and a 3D Design Rear diffuser with the optional exhaust splitters. I wanted the CF tips to be gloss to match the diffuser better.
