2014 BMW M6 Coupe

I've been drooling over the M6s on here for over a month now, and now it's my time to contribute. She has finally arrived, and she's sexy as hell. Here are a couple of snap shots from my phone. I'm excited to get the break-in period over!

Thank you all! This thing is a beast. After coming from an 2008 550i, it makes that car feel like a POS. And so far, I'm really glad i didn't go the M5 route.

As far as mods, I'm not certain what I'm gonna do. There's a lot I would like to do, but I need to do some research for the performance mods.

I'm tinting the windows immediately, and may go ahead and install a Bel Stir + at the same time. I like the Vorsteiner VSE-003s, but still looking around at wheels. I think I'll stay at 20" and go matte black. I do like suggestions, so please feel free to suggest some mods. Any one have a "MUST DO" list of mods?

I did this
http://ind-distribution.com/ind/bran...dct-shift-knob
and
http://ind-distribution.com/ind/bran...smetic-package
right away, it's a must have imo. Waiting on AMS down pipes and Akrapovic exhaust at the moment. In terms of appearance, it's all about taste... Ever though about powder coating those wheels in black?

Thanks, buddy. I'm on the fence about the carbon fiber shifter. I can't decide if I like it or not. Without a doubt, I will install the black grill and side vents.

As far as the wheels go, I did consider and read up on powder coating, but was under the impression that Cons outweigh the pros when powder coating.

I powder coated wheels on my 7, loved it!

Attaching a few pics of my carbon fiber shifter, I say it's a must

I haven't warmed up to the carbon shifter. It's cool, but it feels like too much CF all in one spot. I like the contrast (so far) of the standard one. I have been known to change my mind though..... I also added the painted reflectors ahead of the front wheells today. I may be done with mods now.

BTW love your car....

you can also paint the rims as well: Gloss black really "pops" with the SG. I'm quite happy with it.

Your M6 looks radiant on the showroom floor. I didn't have that pleasure, it came from another state in the rain. What a sensation to see it looking clean and beautiful and standing out from all the other BMW's around it.

Congrats!

The wheels above are 19's. Yours can be seen as Hunter5179 from this board runs his winter setup on the stock 20's and they're powdercoated black. His car is also a SG coupe...He was running the HRE P101 21's for summer which look sick... if going aftermarket I'd personally go the 21" route otherwise save the dough and powdercoat your stock 20's...Just my opinion. again beautiful car

Found them this is Hunter5179 car on the 21's

and here is his winter setup with powdercoated black 20's

One of best looking M6's imo....He did a great job on it and as you can see the 20's look kinda small i dunno my opinion...

Wow, thanks for all the input. It's helping me out a lot. For one, I agreed with Jlamm's original post about the shifter, but after looking at the photos, it does look pretty clean. Hmmm...guessing I'll be adding that to the iND order.
