Owners of 2014 with the new adaptive BMW LED headlights
It is now possible to turn on the glarefree BMW ConnectedDrive Highbeam Assistant in US spec'ed 2014 YM cars equipped with the new adaptive BMW LED headlights!
It is also possible to have the Highbeam Assistant to turn ON by default. Reference thread for the original discussion. and here is the video produced by BMW to show off the feature: |

AFAIK this feature is not available on the 6 series yet. My car, built 27th September, has High Beam assist and LED lights that swivel to follow the road when turning the wheel, but not the full High Beam Assist shown in this video.
The option is available on the F10 though. |

I gather as much but I will be confirming/ denying shortly as I will be getting a dump of the files off a US 2014 ///M6 GC soon.
I would be interested in connecting and doing the same with yours since your car is UK (meaning Europe for this purpose) spec'ed. Do you think you could assist? |

Don't mind assisting, but I don't have the software to download stuff from the F06.
