As someone who had a major accident caused by someone else last summer and spent 6 months fixing my M6, advice, get rid of it. Call it a loss and get a new one. It took months to fix mine, with one of the best shops in the country on a $500k assembly machine, and still having some electrical glitches. It will never be the same and my car is back in the shop getting some ground wire short fixed. Thankfully BMW is looking into taking the car back and getting me a new one, willing to move all my accessories and performance parts for free on the new car. Peace

Thanks Stonehands it is all fixed just saw it today. Took 4 weeks to find the noise which turned out to be a missing grommet in the firewall when they replaced the dash. Total bill $106000. $25k was in performance parts and accessories, vorsteiner kit, exhaust, intake, laser hammers...

Peace,
Noushy

good for you, best option. I wish my insurance company had gone that route, but anyways mine is fixed and back the way it was. I only have 10 months left on the lease, not sure if I want another one.

I am very glad for it working out with both of your situations and nobody hurt. Mine has been in the bodyshop 5 times accruing nearly one year of my 3 year lease. Every thing fixed perfectly, no one hurt and damages were mild and cosmetic. Still annoying in addition to mechanical issues. Like Noushy, I'm not sure if I will lease another one.
