Advantage M6 nobody mentions-headroom

Just took a driving experience at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet. Great venue, for those that aren't familiar with it. Had a hell of a time sitting in the cars with a helmet. i have short legs, a long torso and a multi-level neck fusion. Not much motion.
i had to beg off the I-8. No way to sit up. Just getting in and out wasn't much fun. Had a Lexus F-series. Outstanding car, but I had to drive it looking sideways. Just barely fit a 911.
I don't know if this is a topic brought up much, but it inspired me to look at vehicle heights. The M6 at around 55" was the tallest. A Maclaren, at 46.3, is off the table. A 458, at 47.8" isn't much better. A 911 is around 51". An Aston-Martin Vanquish is 51. Barely tolerable. I know that i won't be wearing a helmet, but it was still an eye-opening exercise.
I suppose that the seats could be lowered, but it seems to be defining factor, for me, at least.

Agreed! When I was on the track in my E92 M3, with the helmet on, I had to tilt my head very significantly to the side due to the lack of headroom (I am 6'2"). The M6 has a great deal more room and I am able to sit normally with a helmet on (when I lower the seat fully). Big fan!

Any cars you tried and had to turn down due to
lack of headroom?

Same here. Only car I have ever had to pass on due to height is the cayman - way too small even for a short drive. The CF roof on the M6 (as well as my e92 M3 and old e63 M6) actually add a little extra headroom in the interior over the sunroof. I would say in my e92 M3 it is at least an inch extra headroom vs the e92 335i I had with a sunroof.

Not really...although I had considered a Ferrari once but found it to be too small for my taste.
