CCB question

Guys woukd like a bit of your knowledge .

Just come out of an F80 with ceramics from new and idrive had the pads at 80k on rears and 120k on fronts, 6 pot and 4 pot .Bought a 2015 F13 competition with ceramics with 5.8k miles on the clock , car has never tracked and was an internal BM management car.I note on the idrive the front pads are at 23k and rears are at 21k, have 2 questions .First being, am I right in thinking this car will be quite heavy on the pads due to its weight, and second being , what's the difference between the single piston floating caliper on the rear than the 4 pot caliper on rear of my other car, why did they not put a 4 pot on the rear of this car.Thanking you.
