TPMS Sensor Interchangable?

I have a set of aftermarket M433 wheels wrapped in almost brand new tires. Issue is, they were on my 2011 550i and I'm not sure if the TPMS sensors are compatible with the 2014 F06. Is there an easy way to tell without mounting/dismounting?

call getbmwparts.com. They know what frequency the sensors operate at and can tell you for certain.

Another question regarding this same set-up (f10 wheels to f06) - are they an exact fit - spacing, etc? Anyway, I'd just call the dealer and ask or if you didn't buy there - configure a wheel set for both cars on Tire Rack and see what part shows for TPMS.

You will have to look up the specs to know for sure.

So, turns out I have part number 6781847-02. It looks like they are the older 433Mhz ones. Does anyone know if our cars are backwards compatible?
