Ordered my 2015 M...!
I'm not on the forums much anymore, but I think that's about to change, as I just ordered my new Bimmer. A big shout out goes to member Poleposition for his help and convincing me to pull the trigger and get back into it -- thank you buddy!
Details are as follows: 2015 M6 Gran Coupe:
I'm keeping the M5 too and am thinking about having ESS do a little work on it. It's good to be back. Hope everyone is well and happy new year!

You'll love the M6 GC. Drove it in Austin.

My build is March. I'm doing April ED. However, it's not a 2015 LCI. I was told it's not part of the March builds. Is this confirmed already? If so, I'll talk to my dealer.

From what I heard the end of the 2014 6 series is February. March builds from my understanding are 2015 LCI models

I know the 4 series Gran Coupe is being unveiled in March, but if they are in fact doing the M6 GC LCI, I'm all over that. Thanks for the heads up -- I'll talk to my dealer tomorrow and see what they say.

C, you need to update that to a 2015 MY
3/17 is the cutoff date to take delivery in Europe for a 2014. Anything after that will be a 2015. I will keep you posted on what exactly the differences will be. I have sent emails to people from the M division and should expect an answer very soon. |

Won't be a drastic change. Will certainly be better its not a brand new model just mid cycle refresh. It will be worth more as well bc of 1 year newer, residuals will be much higher also

Well, you were right! I got a call from my dealer last week and I will be getting a 2015 LCI, since I still am doing the pick-up in April. I'm even more excited now. Hope one of the changes includes the new iDrive system. Thanks again for the heads up!

LCI's are never worse. My 2008 M5 was the first year of the LCI and it was definitely an improvement over the 2006 and 2007's. My 2012 X5 was also an LCI and I had come from a 2009 E70 X5 4.8i, which allowed me to really see the changes. The 2012 LCI was a big upgrade over the 2009. I love LCI's!
