Just purchased my (new to me) 2013 M6

I have been a long time BMW M owner (2000 M Roadster, 2002 M3, 2008 Z4M, 2008/2012 M3) and yesterday, after hemming and hawing for 3 months, I acquired a 2013 San Marino Blue M6 Convertible.

I am looking forward to posting/driving/modifying.

Can't go wrong with San Marino - especially in a vert.

Congratulations! I currently have a 2013 E92 M3 Comp package, and the lease is up this summer. I would really like to get back into having a convertible in the garage, so right now the two front runners are either F83 Comp Package or a used M6 Vert (would love to have CP but they seem to be pretty hard to find). This will be my wife's DD so definitely not getting a new M6 for her to destroy lol! I would love to hear some thoughts on how you are enjoying your M6 as well as what, if any, other cars you considered as well as why you ultimately went with the M6.

I got to drive a 2016 650i Vert last summer, and even though it wasn't at the level of all around performance that I would want, I have to say I was pretty surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Top down in that beautiful interior is hard to beat, and reminded me of how much I enjoyed having a convertible.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts/pictures! Oh and SMB is definitely the color I would chose in fact it is probably my favorite color out right now!

The m3 and M6 are very different. The M3 is smaller and lighter, I can really feel the size of the M6. It is also roomier up front, much nicer interior, far better tech, and the power is effortless. Glad I made the change. I looked at the M4, but it did not seem to be as much of an upgrade.
