M6 GranCoupe Purchase

Hey all, been on the M3 board for a while now. Waiting for a 2016 M3 I have the opportunity to by a 2014 M6 gran coupe equipped with the following:

2014 White/Black
Every option except ceramic brakes. DCT, B&O, Night Vision, Comp Package, etc

The car is certified with 38k miles. Yea, you read that right. Carfax says corporate owned for 13 months. Does that mean lease? Dealer is asking $80k out the door. I pay my tax when I register. Good deal?

what was the MSRP of this car? I guess ~140k ?
If that's the case, with 38k miles on the clock the residual value is less than 80k...now 80k out the door (including tax) and CPO I would say a fair deal

$140k is about right. Car is certified already. Price was around $87k last month and down to $82k this month. Negotiated to $80k cpo'd out the door with all fee's.

Just an idea........but you could also lease a on the lot 2015 M5, rates are pretty good right now.

140 is too high w/o B&O, CCB, CP, DCT, NV.

"Corporate owned" means that it has technically never been sold. I had an E39 with 5K miles that was in this category. With the 2016's rolling in, you should be able to negotiate more aggressively, especially with those miles.

Corporate owned usually means it was a company lease. I sometimes lease my cars through my company and they are marked corporate owned.

I guess there is misunderstanding here.... He mentioned everything except CCB.
I assumed he meant his car has B&O , CP, DCT, NV....
BTW, NV is standard on M6

Correct, car has every option except the carbon ceramic brakes. It is certified.

new to this forum, but i just got my 2014 M6 GC for 90k with all options but w/o Night Vision and paid addtional 3500 for bumper to bumper 7year 100k w/no deductible. good luck with the search.

How many miles were on the car? Also, was the $3500 an extension of CPO warranty? Looking at a 2014 M6 GC. 4900 miles. Same options as yours (Exec pkg, Driver's assistance pkg, Bang $ Olufsen). Asking was $99,998, after some negotiation, dealer is offering it for $98,250. I'm thinking I can probably get it lower to $93K. It is CPO Elite till July 2018 or 75,000 miles.

I am looking for a GC though. But it looks like I can negotiate a price lower than $95K. Thanks for the info.

sorry for the late reply, way late but this one had 9k miles on it, and also competition pkg too. Extended warranty wasn't CPO, original warranty goes to 10/2017 and my after market one goes to 2022 or 100k miles

Mileage: 5223
Asking: $99,998.

I am trading in my 528i and will have negative equity of around $9500

Dealer is offering it for $98K. Doesn't include fees, etc. I'd like to offer $90K. And I figured, they'll counter somewhere. What do you guys think?

There are only few GC out there so it may be little tough but deal is a deal so why not.... i figured they place 10 -12% markup.
