UK - Considering trading my 520d for 640d GC - What options should I look for?

I've just been to test drive a local 640d, deep sea blue, some options I wanted but not all. I have to say I feel in love with the way it drove. That diesel does not sound like any diesel I've heard. It was awesome!

Car was nearly 30k which they wouldn't budge on and were giving me a rubbish px rate too

I paid 32k for my 2012 coupe 13 months ago and they wouldn't budge on the price either.
It didn't have the full spec I wanted but it was Ruby black and had ivory comfort seats and the way it drove had me straight away.

Was it a M sport that you test drove?

December 2013, msport plus pack inc HUD, DSP Hifi, reversing camera, full multifunction panel, sunshade glazing, gloss exterior trim, carbon black with black interior.

25k. Thoughts?!

Thanks, I can't wait. I must admit I would have preferred a couple of different options, like ivory interior for a change (although I like black interior, just fancied a change), and high beam assist, but it had 95% of what I wanted and the price was good. I'd like to see if it's possible to have any options coded like I have done on my 5 series. And maybe change the aluminium trim to the wood trim

I had loads coded onto mine. Rather than mucking it up myself I used DD Coding and Adam done it all remotely. Yeah that's the downside with buying 2nd hand with having all the extras you want etc but having most you wanted is good.

M6 active sound
Mirrors fold nearly instantly when locking
Dials to white all the time
Angel eyes full brightness
Dvd in motion
Reverse cam at anytime
Sport configuration in menu
Update on gearbox and traction
Launch control activated
LED's and angel eyes come on when u unlock
Rear lights on as running lights

I think there were a few other bits but I can't think of what they were off the top of my head lol

Sport configuration in menu: What does this allow you to do?
Update on gearbox and traction: Update what exactly?

On the HUD, does it show things like media/telephone by default? i.e. Spotify tracks etc?

Cam at anytime you just press the camera button.
When you go into sport you can change the settings now for chassis etc
The gearbox and traction update was a new update from Bmw
I'm not sure on Hud as my car doesn't have it. My last car did and I miss it lol

hmmm, my new one doesn't have a camera button I don't think, only the Parking sensor button. Do you only get the cam button with the surround view?

Yes that's the button I will have too, but there is also this that I saw on some cars, I guess this is only for the surround view

Whats the active m6 sound like, had no idea that could be done, let alone via remote
