Hi, guys. I own a CPO 640i BMW. Recently, I begin to notice that my headlights easily become hazy. I try multiple methods of restoration but the haze still come back after a few months . I take a look closely today and notice tiny little scratches on them . I attached a picture to clarify. Am I not professional enough or something's wrong with my headlight: ? Also, my fiancee just bought a M sport F10 with LED. I notice that the line above the halo in her car is more white than mine. I wonder if it is normal for series 6. I forget what it looks like when I bought the car.

I kept an E46 for 10+ years and had to deal with sun/road debri-damaged headlamps toward the end.
I tried hand buffing as well as with drill driver kits.
Then, I ended up just replacing entire lens.

Some lamps come with opaque eyebrow. You should be able to tell whether it is uniform or unnatural.

Looks like the UV protection has either degraded or been badly sanded in the past. You can get a perfect polish with the drill sand/polish kits, but you MUST use a UV sealer afterwards otherwise it goes hazy again over time.

I think I should leave it to professional. How about the eyebrows? Does it normally look that way?

Hmm, my 2013 650i eyebrows also look like this. Was wondering if it's normal?

This is after the professional headlight restoration from BMW dealership. Some cracks stayed. It does look better but not perfect. He don't want to thin the headlight too much. I order some opti-lens and apply it for uv protection. [IMG][/IMG]
